Security Bike Park™

Frequently Asked Questions

Please choose from one of the following groups of questions:

How secure will my bicycle be at BikePark?

All users will require a security access card to enter and exit BikePark. You will get this security card on your first visit. This  card grants you entry through the main doors. We strongly encourage you to lock your bike and remove all items such as lights, heart rate monitors and cycle computers. It is your responsibility to secure your bicycle to the bike rack. Staff members are frequently present. Closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras monitor all public areas continuously.

How will I identify my bicycle among all the brands and similar coloured bicycles on the racks?

Every bike rack is numbered.  As a BikePark Member with a Term Membership, you will be assigned a reserved bike rack for the duration of your term agreement.

If you are a Casual User, you will need to obtain a day parking ticket from our reception staff. The day parking ticket will identify your numbered bike rack and parking date. You will need to place this day parking ticket in the clear sleeve above your bicycle rack.

How safe will I be when using BikePark in the evening between 7PM and 7AM?

Emergency intercom telephones are located at reception in case of emergency. The exterior and interior of BikePark are well lit. You will have after hour access only if you hold a Term Membership. We have segregated male and female bathrooms, change rooms and locker sections that require electronic access.

All members are verified and their entry and exit information are recorded.

Many of the neighbouring establishments are open 24 hours.

My bike is a limited edition model and very expensive. What measures will BikePark take to guard against theft?

BikePark provides secure parking for your bicycle with all reasonable measures in place to deter theft. It is a condition of use that you must take responsibility for securing your bicycle and all your personal items. You acknowledge that storing your bicycle and your personal goods at BikePark is at your own risk.
