Our Team
James is a passionate cyclist who took up the sport on his doctor’s advice. He was overweight, unfit and heading for a heart attack by 50. He began by cycling to work in August 2006 and lost over 20kg after completing the first 250km Around-the-Bay Legends Ride. He raised over $1,500 for the Smith Family. In 2007, James set his goal to complete the Paris Brest Paris 1270km. He assisted an incapacitated fellow rider for over two hours down a steep descent before Villenes-la-Juhel and lost the time to be given a completion within 84 hours. Still it was a great ride and a personal best. James is keen on attempting the PBP 2015. He is a Cycle Skills coach and a Level 1 Commissaire accredited by Cycling Australia.
